Anthony's NY Pizza and Pasta House
About This Spot
Stepping into Anthony’s NY Pizza and Pasta House feels much like crossing into a warm, inviting corner of New York—right in the heart of Clarksville. The pace here is unhurried yet attentive, where familiar faces behind the counter meet you with genuine ease. It’s a gathering spot for those seeking comfort in classic Italian-American flavors delivered with care rather than fuss.
The atmosphere balances between casual and earnest, offering a quiet refuge where the focus rests on the simple pleasure of well-crafted cuisine. You won’t feel rushed, and your meal arrives with a warmth that suggests time spent perfecting every bite. The friendly hum of occasional conversations complements the welcoming vibe, making it feel like a neighborhood kitchen where locals come to savor moments and meals.
The kitchen here specializes in authentic, no-nonsense New York–style pizza—the kind with a thin, crisp crust that folds just right, topped with cheese and sauce rich enough to carry you back to familiar streets. Alongside these pies, comforting pasta dishes and hearty calzones reflect a sincere love for Italian-American classics, bringing warmth to the plate whether you’re dining solo or sharing with friends.
It’s the kind of place where garlic knots pair effortlessly with stories exchanged over piping-hot pasta, where a buffalo pizza adds a subtle kick to a laid-back afternoon, and melt-in-your-mouth meatballs punctuate a quiet, satisfying meal. Even dessert whispers notes of home with a lava cake that melts slowly, inviting you to linger just a little longer.
What makes Anthony’s stand out is this quietly confident embrace of tradition: no shortcuts, no showiness—just honest ingredients prepared thoughtfully, served in a space that feels less like a restaurant and more like a welcoming pause in an otherwise busy day.

Walked into a completely dead restaurant with no patrons at all. Was seated quickly, and my order was taken quickly. Bread wasn't bad. It's definitely nice and warm. Soft in the middle and crisp on the outside. Tasted fresh. I ordered the stuffed shells with meat sauce. It came out piping hot and still bubbling. Not bad at all. I needed something close to home good, and this satisfied it. Thank you. Normally, I would have a review saying it tasted even better cold the next day. However, my leftovers went to a homeless family standing outside of a shopping center on a school night looking for help. Apparently, not even the school their children attend are helping with anything. And they are being turned away from assistance programs. It is a rather repetitive thing I am hearing across a large majority of this entire state. Sad. I went through the same as a single mom and foster mom for 20 years. And over the pandemic. It's not surprising at all. Those employed on the taxpayers dime aren't fulfilling their duties and not being held accountable. And it is showing in record numbers.

Consistently good food. Pizza, subs, and pasta. Hands down one of the best Margherita pies I've had in Baltimore. They added a "garlic" parmesan sprinkle on cheese which was great. Enjoy them!

Honest to goodness NYC pizza in the HoCo. Lots of pretenders but this throne goes to Anthony’s for actual thin crispy crust, with just the right chew, high quality cheese and sauce that doesn’t rely on salt but on flavor. This is the closest I’ve had outside the city. We also ordered a healthier Spinach Stuffed Eggplant that had delicious flavors, if a little underdone. Heated up later at home, it too was awesomely creamy without overwhelming the spinach and eggplant. The service was so friendly and courteous, we KNEW we weren’t in NYC

We've been looking for a quality pizza since Bertucci's closed in Columbia and tried five places around town with no luck. Finally, we had lunch at Anthony's NY Pizza and it was great! Nice crust, foldable and crisp. Topping quantities were just right. Service by Eylin was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
